Terms and Conditions

These Terms govern use of Framulus, a programmable visual canvas for creating, editing and exporting slide-based documents. The service is operated by the person identified in the Impressum. By creating an account, you agree to these Terms.

You must provide accurate account information, keep your credentials confidential and use an email address you can verify. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless you promptly tell us that it has been compromised.

One person may use more than one sign-in method where the service links them to the same account. Two-factor authentication is optional. Account security controls, including rate limits and temporary lockouts, may delay access after repeated failed attempts.

You keep ownership of the text, images, designs and other material you put into a Framulus project. You are responsible for having the rights needed to use and share that material, including remote images whose addresses you add to a document.

You grant the operator only the limited permission needed to store, render, export and transmit your content as you direct through the service. Framulus does not claim ownership of your work and does not use it to train a model.

You can share a project with an existing Framulus account or place it in a workspace. The owner controls access, subject to any workspace role that also applies. A person with edit access can change the project. A viewer can read it but cannot write through the editor or an agent tool.

Framulus does not currently merge simultaneous edits in real time. If two people save conflicting versions, the later save may replace the earlier one. Share only with people you trust and coordinate edits where that matters.

Framulus has a free plan and may offer a paid Studio subscription. The billing page shows the price, currency, interval and tax treatment supplied by Stripe before you subscribe. The subscription renews for the displayed interval until you cancel it.

Payment details are collected by Stripe and do not pass through Framulus. If a payment fails, paid access may be limited according to the subscription status received from Stripe. You remain able to reach your account and existing documents as the free plan permits.

You can cancel from Framulus billing settings. Cancellation stops the next renewal and ordinarily leaves paid access in place until the end of the period already paid for. Where Stripe still supports it, you can resume before that period ends. The public cancellation page remains available without signing in.

Statutory withdrawal rights are separate from cancellation and are explained in the withdrawal information. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights.

You may connect a compatible external coding agent, including Claude Code or Codex, through the Model Context Protocol. A connection you approve authorises that client to use the read tools and, where your account has edit access, the write tools for the open editor session.

An external agent acts on your instructions. You are responsible for reviewing what it reads and changes, and for the terms and data handling of the agent provider you choose. Framulus does not provide the model, hold its API key or send a project to an AI provider on its own. Agent writes use the same document reducer and undo history as edits made in the interface.

You must not use Framulus to:

• break the law or infringe another person’s rights;
• distribute malware, deceptive content or material designed to harm another person or system;
• probe, bypass or interfere with authentication, rate limits, permissions, billing, the MCP bridge or other security controls;
• overload the service, automate abusive traffic or use unsupported inputs to evade the document model’s restrictions; or
• access a project, workspace, subscription or account you are not authorised to use.

Framulus, its software, interface, name and visual system remain the property of the operator or their licensors. These Terms give you a right to use the service while your account is active, not ownership of Framulus itself.

The service may change as it develops and may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance, failures or causes outside reasonable control. No uninterrupted or error-free availability is promised. This does not exclude liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

You can delete your account from Settings. Deletion is final and removes account data and content as described in the privacy policy. An active Stripe subscription is cancelled before its customer record and the Framulus account are deleted.

Access may be suspended or ended for a material or repeated breach of these Terms, where proportionate and permitted by law. Where the issue can reasonably be corrected, an opportunity to correct it will be given before termination. Mandatory rights and legally required records survive as the law requires.

German law applies, without depriving a consumer of mandatory protection under the law of their habitual residence. Any configured jurisdiction in the Impressum applies only where a binding agreement on jurisdiction is legally permitted.

These Terms may be updated when the service or legal requirements change. Material changes will apply prospectively. The date above identifies the version currently published.
