Crop and masks

Fit, focal point, crop zoom and the three mask shapes, none of which change the file.

Cropping in Framulus is a way of looking at an image inside a box. The stored file is never altered, so a crop is undoable and reversible and the same file stays usable elsewhere at full size.

Fit

Fill
Covers the box, cropping whatever does not fit
Fit
Whole image inside the box, with space around it
Stretch
Fills the box exactly, ignoring the aspect ratio

Focal point and zoom

Focal X and Focal Y are a point inside the original image, from 0 to 100 per cent, that the crop keeps centred. Crop zoom magnifies inside the frame, from 1 to 8 times. Double-click the image on the canvas to set both by dragging and scrolling.

Masks

Rectangle, rounded and ellipse. A rounded mask uses the element's own corner radius when it has one.
