Templates
Saving a project as a starting point, and who else can use it.
A template is a copy of a project made to start from. Save one from a project's menu or from inside the editor; start a new project from one on the Projects page.
Visibility
A template is private to its author by default. Publishing it beyond yourself, to a workspace or to everyone, is part of Studio and is refused by the server without it. Saving templates, starting from them and keeping them private are free.
A template is a copy, not a link
Starting from one gives you your own document. Later edits to the template do not reach it, and edits to your project do not reach the template.
