Inspector

The Inspector edits the selection. Every field dispatches the same change the canvas does, so a typed number and a drag are the same edit with the same undo.

What is in it

• Position and size, in slide pixels, parent-relative.
• Typography: a font role from the document's design system, size, weight, line height, tracking and alignment.
• Fill, border, radius, shadow and opacity.
• Layout, which turns a container into a flex or grid parent. See Components and instances.
• A section per component kind: the chart's data, the equation's LaTeX, the image's fit and crop, the score's key and clef.

An empty field is not zero

Clearing a number field and clicking away leaves the value alone. A blank draft is never committed as 0.
