Export destinations

A destination is a delivery choice and never a document change. Choosing Instagram portrait does not resize a slide: it reports whether the slide is already a size the platform delivers at, by exact pixels rather than by ratio, and renders the file. Resizing stays in the format menu as a deliberate act with its own undo.

What happens when you choose one

Framulus renders the image at the right size and hands it to your device, through the system share sheet where there is one and as a download everywhere else. The wording says Export for, never Post to.

Why nothing is posted

• TikTok's Content Posting API needs an approved client with the publishing scope. Until that client passes TikTok's audit everything it posts is forced to private viewing, and its photo endpoint does not accept bytes at all: it fetches them from a domain verified with TikTok.
• Instagram's content publishing needs a professional account, a reviewed app with the publishing permission, and media already hosted at a publicly reachable URL, because the API fetches the image rather than being handed it.

Both would mean Framulus hosting your exported images publicly and holding an approved app registration per platform. Neither is done, so neither is implied. There are no undocumented deep links, no automation of either website, and nothing that asks for a social password.
