Rich text and lists
Bold, italic, colour and highlight on part of a line, and bulleted or numbered lists, stored as structured text.
Text, Button and Quote elements take formatting on part of their text: one bold word, a highlighted phrase, a coloured name, or a list.
Formatting a range
Double-click the text on the canvas, select the words, and use the toolbar above it or the Text style section in the Inspector. While a range is selected, the Inspector formats only that range. With the text closed, Text style formats all of it.

Colour and highlight
Text colour and highlight take a design token or any colour. A token follows the design system, so a highlighted word changes with the brand.
Lists
A line can be a paragraph, a bullet item or a numbered item. Numbering counts within an unbroken run of numbered items. Paragraph gap, line height, alignment, max lines and the text box sizing modes all apply as they do to plain text.
In the code panel
Formatted text is written as paragraphs and a small set of tags: p, ul, ol, li, b, i, u, s and span with color and highlight. Anything else is reported with its line. Text with no formatting is written exactly as before.
